Terms of Service

Localcall is a browser-based international calling service operated by Olio LLC ("Localcall", "we", "us"). These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of localcall.ai, the web dialer, and related services (the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account and add credits. The Service is not directed to children. By using the Service you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

Localcall lets you place calls to landline and mobile phone numbers around the world directly from your web browser, with optional live translation and AI voice-agent modes. The Service includes:

• Browser-based calling to supported international destinations.
• Optional live two-way translation of your call.
• An optional AI voice agent that can hold a logistics-focused call on your behalf using context you provide.
• Prepaid wallet credits and per-minute pricing shown before you connect.

The Service runs in your browser and does not require a downloaded app or SIM. Features, supported destinations, and rates may change over time.

You can sign in with an email and password, an email magic link, or Google. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use.

You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. You may not share your account or let others use your credits in violation of these Terms.

The Service is prepaid. You add wallet credits and the per-minute rate for a destination is shown before you connect. Calls are billed as follows:

• A minimum first-minute charge applies, then billing continues in six-second increments.
• The rate displayed at the start of a call applies for that call; rates may change as carrier costs change.
• Live translation and AI-agent modes cost more than a plain call because they use additional AI processing.
• Credits are denominated in US dollars and have no cash value outside the Service.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Credits already consumed are non-refundable except where required by law; unused credit balances expire 12 months after the date of purchase. We may offer refunds of unused balances at our discretion or where required by applicable law.

You agree to use the Service lawfully and not to:

• Place fraudulent, deceptive, or unsolicited automated/bulk calls (including unlawful telemarketing or robocalls in violation of the TCPA or similar laws).
• Harass, threaten, defraud, or harm any person, or call any number without a lawful basis.
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of telecommunications, consumer-protection, or export/sanctions laws.
• Resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties without our written permission.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or attempt to circumvent the security or rate limits of the Service.
• Infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.

Calls originate from a US telephone number, and you are responsible for complying with all laws that apply to your calls. We block calls to comprehensively sanctioned countries and to certain premium, satellite, service, and emergency number ranges.

Live translation and the AI voice agent are powered by automated machine-learning models and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or delayed. They are provided "as is" for convenience and are not a substitute for a professional human interpreter or for legal, medical, financial, or emergency advice. Do not rely on them where accuracy is critical.

If you use the AI voice agent, you are responsible for the instructions and context you provide and for the calls it places on your behalf. The AI agent is intended for logistics-style requests only (for example asking about hours, availability, or appointments) and must not be used to give advice or to impersonate others unlawfully.

Localcall does not record audio for ordinary calls or ChatGPT-managed calls. A team owner may separately enable audio recording for other team agent calls after accepting the applicable disclosure requirements. Live captions for ordinary translation and AI-agent calls are processed during the call and discarded when it ends. Managed team calls may retain transcripts and structured results under the team's retention setting. You are responsible for complying with all call-recording, wiretap, and consent laws that apply to you and the people you call. Every managed automated call must disclose that an AI assistant is in use.

The Service is NOT a replacement for your telephone service and CANNOT be used to call emergency numbers such as 911, 112, or 999. The Service depends on your internet connection and may be unavailable. Always use a traditional phone or mobile network to reach emergency services.

The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. Call quality and availability depend on your device, browser, internet connection, and third-party carriers, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

The Service relies on third-party providers for payments, telephony, and AI translation and summaries. Your use of the Service may be subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for outages, errors, or actions of these providers.

Localcall, its software, design, and trademarks are owned by Localcall or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You retain rights to the content and context you submit, and you grant us the rights needed to operate the Service for you.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; we handle remaining wallet balances in accordance with applicable law.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY REGARDING CALL QUALITY, ACCURACY OF TRANSLATION, OR UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LOCALCALL WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR DATA. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE SIX MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Localcall and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your calls, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law, including any call-recording or consent laws.

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will provide notice by email or in the Service. Changes take effect when posted, and your continued use of the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware and applicable US federal law, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You and Localcall agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware for any dispute, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
